Newly appointed OEC Cabinet members sworn in

Rawalpindi: Organization for Educational Change (OEC) held oath taking ceremony for its newly appointed executive members at a local hotel here in Rawalpindi on Sunday. Tajjali Abid, the chairperson of the M&A Council took the oath from Sikandar Baig and Ali Haider as President and Vice President respectively, for the year 2016-2017.

The event brought the volunteers and members of OEC together on one table where they held interactive sessions. Diversity was witnessed in the team this time as the idea of taking people belonging from every district of GB was incorporated by Sikandar Baig and was much appreciated by the leaders and good will partners of the organization.

Khayam Beg, the outgoing president highlighted the challenges and achievements during his tenure and the newly appointed team members shared their vision and goals and vowed to ensure the sustainability of different projects of the organization.

Noor Pamiri, Imran Hunzai and Naveed Hussain spoke on the occasion, discussed OEC’s progress, admired the voluntarily work of the team and emphasized on extending outreach to nook and corner of GB and Chitral.

Organization for Educational Change (OEC) is the well-known organization striving for spreading educational awareness in the remote areas of Gilgit Baltistan and grooming up the youth for excelling in their careers. With its very organized and structured setup, several projects are carried out by the highly devoted volunteers.
